Ingredients
- 1½ oz VIDO
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- ¾ oz peppermint tea syrup*
- ½ oz blanc vermouth
- 2 oz sparkling wine
*PEPPERMINT TEA SYRUP
- 1½ c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. loose leaf peppermint green tea
Heat water in a saucepan until simmering. Remove from heat and add tea, stirring to combine. Let sit, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Fine strain and return the water to the saucepan. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. If the tea isn’t hot enough, gently reheat it on low until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool, bottle, and refrigerate. Use within 2 weeks. Makes approx. 16 ounces.
Preparation
- In a shaker, add all ingredients except for the sparkling wine.
- Add ice and shake until chilled.
- Add the sparkling wine to the shaken ingredients and fine strain into a Collins glass.
- Add your ice and garnish with lemon wheels.
