Ingredients
- 4 oz. VIDO Premium Vodka
- Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice (1 lemon)
- 2 oz. Simple Syrup
- 2 Egg Whites
- 2 oz. Orangecello Liqueur
- 1 oz. Aperol
- ⅛ tsp Cardamom
- Ice
- Nutmeg
- Orange Zest
Preparation
Note: If you actually LIKE candy corn, you can infuse your vodka by soaking the candy (in a separate jar) for at least 4 hours or even overnight. If you use the infused vodka you may want to skip adding the simple syrup in the steps below.
- In your shaker cup, add:
- Juice from one Lemon
- Egg Whites from 2 eggs
- Few dashes of Cardamom (⅛ tsp.)
- Dry Shake Vigorously (45 seconds or so to 'cook' the egg and create a nice foam)
- Add to your shaker cup:
- Ice
- VIDO Premium Vodka (4 oz.)
- Orangecello Liqueur (2 oz.)
- Simple Syrup (2 oz.)
- Shake vigorously again (30 seconds or so).
- Strain evenly between your two flutes, topping with foam (may need to use a spoon).
- Using a Barspoon to break the surface of the foam, gently pour in your Aperol (approx ½ oz. for each glass)
- Top with Nutmeg and Orange Zest
